The Broadway revival of "Little Shop of Horrors" is playing at the Fox Theatre this week. It's my favorite musical. Ever. I have two tickets for the Sunday evening show (starting at 6:30pm).
Who wants to come with me?
Anyone? Anyone? Bueller?
ADDENDUM: I understand that it is the same night as the Superbowl, but I look at it like this:
The Superbowl happens every year. "Little Shop of Horrors" will probably never play at the Fox Theatre ever again in our lives.
Theatre enriches our lives. No matter how you try to spin it, football does not.
Plus, there's the added element of being at a live event as opposed to sitting in someone's living room (or a crowded bar) watching television. We only watch it for the commercials, anyway. Search your feelings...you know it to be true!

Posted by: Janice at February 2, 2005 09:15 AMThe Superbowl is stupid. "Let's watch commercials!" Way to go, advertisers, you've ruined the country. I would definitely go, but I am nowhere near you anymore. Plus, a crying child. Plus, the Superbowl is gay. Sorry homes.
Posted by: b at February 2, 2005 10:13 PMActually I'm required to watch the commercials for my Marketing class (I know that sounds like bullshit but it's true) :(
Anyway they occasionally make me giggle.
Miss you zippy!!
Posted by: Janice at February 3, 2005 11:09 AMMarketing? Then you have a noble reason for watching, and God's speed to you. I, on the other hand, will take a pass.
