That's right, fools. I spent Friday night and all day Saturday at three different movie theaters catching up on my movie-viewing...ed...ness. If you know me (and if you're reading this there's a pretty damn good chance that you do), then you know how serious I am about my movies. For two solid months, I was wrapped up in work and Little Theatre stuff and never got the chance to see any of the movies that came out during that time. So, I took this, my first full and completely free weekend since the play, to play catch-up.
Friday evening was spent in Rome at two different theaters, Mount Berry and The Village. Saturday was spent in Kennessaw at the same theater, Barrett Commons. The ticket taker at Barrett Commons was thouroughly astounded when I kept appearing every other hour to give her my ticket. She admitted that I definately could have gotten away with jumping from screen to screen without having to worry about tickets, but I didn't want to run the risk of getting thrown out. Besides, if I had seen these movies the first time around, I would have paid for them then anyway.
So what was the line-up, you ask? Good question. Here we go:
Friday
4:25pm - A History of Violence
9:15pm - The Constant Gardner
Saturday
1:15pm - Serenity
3:20pm - Tim Burton's Corpse Bride
4:45pm - Shopgirl
7:15pm - Good Night, and Good Luck.
9:00pm - Jarhead
I'll have mini-reviews later...after I've had a few more naps.
