Movie News

The Bad - The Olsen twins have gotten their own star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame. These 17 year old twins (who look like they haven't eaten in 3 weeks) have created a multi-million dollar empire out of a clothing line and a string of crapulent TV and straight-to-video movies. There are actors who have been in the business for over 50 years and have produced some of the greatest performances on film that still do not have their star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame. Hell, Britney Spears just got one recently, as well. I hate Hollywood.

The Good - John Malkovich will be playing Lord Voldemort in Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire! Malkovich Malkovich!

UPDATE! - Warner Brothers has announced that John Malkovich WILL NOT be playing Lord Volemort. DAMN DAMN DAMN!!!

More Boredom

Not much kickin' here. I'm still looking for a job. Thank you, tax payers, for helping keep me up during this time of unemployment! ;)

Got some more movie and video game reviews coming soon. Hey, I gotta have something to do!

In the mean time, tell me...are there any particular topics or items that you would like to see more of on this site?

16 Hour Block of Entertainment

Sunday evening, I saw the national tour production of The Producers. It's the most Tony Award winning show in Broadway history for a damn good reason - it's awesome! Alan Ruck played the role of Leo Bloom...yes, the same Alan Ruck that played Cameron in Ferris Bueller's Day Off. Huzzah!!!

Then, Monday morning, I saw Kill Bill: Vol. 2. Oh yes. I've seen it...

...and it was phenominal!!! Much more story and character driven this time around. Don't get me wrong...there is still some fighting, just not on the level of Vol. 1. It's much more personal and dramatic. And it only goes to further my stance on NOT buying the Vol. 1 DVD today and waiting until the whole thing is released in a huge special edition package. These movies need to be seen as one - spliting it up takes away from the experience as a whole. Vol. 1 stands well on it's own, but becomes an even better film once you see Vol. 2 unfold. A true masterpiece.
