Acting!

Well, what do you know? Three weeks back in Calhoun, and I've already been cast in a play. Still no job yet, but at least I'll be acting again.

The Calhoun Little Theatre will be performing the original stage version of Wait Until Dark. Unfortunately, I will not be playing the Audrey Hepburn role. ;)

Casting Call for Hogwarts

Okay, this is the last time I will make a report about casting for Voldemort, I swear! If it turns out to be false again, then I give up completely.

Word has it that the deal is done: Ralph Fiennes will be playing Voldemort in the 4 remaining Harry Potter films. REJOICE!

One Week

Well, I've been in Calhoun for about a week now. Finally settled in. Convinced the parents to upgrade to high-speed cable internet - it's freakin' awesome! It is definately faster than DSL. SWEET!

Caught up with some old friends from high school. They haven't changed one bit. That's life in a small town. It's good to be back.

Saw The Village this weekend. Well made movie, but the story lacked the intensity of Night's other films. There's no "twist" to speak of...mainly because it's too predictable...and that's mainly because it's been done before in various forms. It was more like a long episode of "The Twilight Zone". But, like I said, it was very well made, and the acting was top notch, especially Bryce Dallas Howard. She was brilliant in her role, and she's easy on the eyes, as well. ;)

I started the South Beach diet today. So we'll se how that goes.
