Busy Week

This week is over...finally! I am exhausted and looking forward to a weekend of rest.

We are in the final two weeks before teachers come back for pre-planning, and we're trying to get all the computers ready for them. This has mainly involved the loading and unloading and general lifting of many computers and monitors. It's also been very hot and muggy outside, not to mention that many of the classrooms had the AC turned off. Suckage abounds.

I experienced a major bit of angst this week when I thought I was getting scammed on eBay. I had won an auction of a PSP at a pretty sweet price. After I was notified of my winning bid, I promptly logged in to PayPal and paid for my prize. Several days went by, and I never heard from the seller. I emailed him. I emailed him again. It was almost 2 weeks after the auction, and I had yet to hear from him.

Yesterday, he finally emailed me back saying that another member of his family had sold the PSP prior to the auction's end. The problem was that he had not sent the money back. I promptly filed a claim with PayPal, and they were able to get him to refund the money. As of this afternoon, the money is back in my PayPal account. Now I just have to wait a couple of days to get it transferred back into my bank account. This is a good thing, as I am down to about $3 and don't get paid until next Friday.

WHEW!

The sucky part is that I missed trivia with the Trivia Bloggers this past Wednesday. Hopefully I'll get to join them again next week.
